After a few huge client wins and and considerable growth we’re after a Studio Manager to join our award-winning team. You will be part of a super-talented and hyper-creative team who will be work variety of projects, from slick digital ad campaigns to complex, rich interactive, social content and video.

You will be acting as a Resource Manager primarily however depending on the workload we might get you involved in Project Management too.

Since 2006, we’ve worked out of Central London, designing original, world-class digital creative for clients, around the world. We’ve got a great team here at Waste. We have some of the most exciting, global brands as partners, including Supercell, British Gas, Camelot, Sega, Warner Bros and Yahoo!. They all have one thing in common (aside from being a client.) They all want big, powerful, creative ideas that work for their brand.

The successful candidate needs to:

  • Be an instantly likeable, approachable and friendly person with outstanding communication skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to pick things up at lightning speed
  • Highly proactive - you will need to own the role and ensure our internal teams are well informed about their responsibilities, deadlines and deliverables from kick off.
  • High degree of organisational skills and ability to provide clear communication and support to all areas of production
  • Passionate about the world of digital
  • Good understanding of social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat)
  • Responsive and efficient with requests

Your Studio Manager duties will be to:

  • Lead regular resource meetings (Using their preferred resource management tools)
  • Create and maintaining a workflow structure with the project management team
  • Compile and update studio schedules (resource calendar)
  • Manage annual leave of employees
  • Manage ad-hoc resource redistribution
  • Resource management across both freelance and perm
  • Manage the freelance database and assist with sourcing ad hoc Freelance requests
  • Post job ads and reply to candidates with results
  • Answer the phone and route to the relevant person in the company
  • Order equipment for the studio and manage the leases with our Finance Manager
  • Book flights, transport and hotels for any off site meetings

Bonus skills:
The studio manager role to start with won’t be 100% studio management therefore any experience with Project Management will be a bonus. Therefore this role would be suitable for a Project Manager wanting to migrate to a Studio Manager role.
